Offered here is an ultra rare game used ball from Nolan Ryan's historic 2nd career no-hitter. Statistically, this was Ryan's most dominant performance of his staggering collection of seven, sending seventeen Detroit Tigers back to the dugout by way of strikeout, the highest tally in that metric. A youngster named Dennis Clotworthy had a front row seat to that July 15, 1973 contest, needing to walk only 300 feet from his home to his visiting club batboy job in the dugout of Tiger Stadium.

Clotworthy's included letter advises that this is a ball that Ryan pitched and was fouled down the first base line, where he retrieved it. When Ryan's feat was complete, he wisely passed the ball around to the celebrating Angels, including the man of the hour. The twenty-three signatures appearing on the well-worn OAL (Cronin) ball average 8/10, and Clotworthy's own writing over the stamping reports, "No Hitter 1973 N. Ryan, Angels vs. Tigers." A first--and quite possibly last--chance to own a game used sphere from Ryan's greatest performance. Letter of provenance from Tiger Stadium batboy as well as a full Letter of Authenticity for the autographs from PSA/DNA.
