This hardcover 1989 yearbook from Parklane Academy in Spears' birthplace of McComb, Mississippi finds the seven-year-old first grader on the brink of her life-changing journey to Atlanta to audition for the revival of The Mickey Mouse Club, where she'd ultimately join such future superstars as Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling.
Spears signs her full name in black marker on the opening page of the yearbook, the earliest known example of her autograph ever made available at auction. She appears twice in the yearbook photographically as well, in a candid shot on page five and her official class photo on page sixty-two.
A "Me" notation on the same page as the latter tells us that this book belonged to a member of Spears' home room class.
