You can't get very far into a conversation of the NFL's all-time greatest quarterbacks without the name John Elway surfacing. The only quarterback ever to play in five Super Bowls, Elway was the complete package of size (6'3"), pocket presence, a rocket arm and the ability to run when needed. Above all, Elway had a stubborn, unwavering desire to win! When trailing in the 4th quarter, few quarterbacks in NFL history have engineered more game-winning drives than John Elway. Offered is John Elway’s game-used blue mesh jersey from the 1997 season when Elway and the Denver Broncos defeated the Green Bay Packers 31-24 in Super Bowl XXXII. Elway signed the jersey and inscribed "Game Used 1997" & "SB XXXII Champs". Inside the collar is a team tagged "97-46" patch to indicate year and jersey size. You can see some great use on the jersey including sweat marks on the numbers and pilling throughout the jersey. The bottom is custom-cut and hemmed. The autograph comes with the John Elway authentication hologram. The jersey is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Game Used jersey authority Grey Flannel.
