Durant was taken second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Sonics. On October 31, 2007, Durant made his NBA debut with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals in a loss to the Denver Nuggets. Durant's 20.3 point per game season average broke the SuperSonics 40-year old rookie record set by Bob Rule during the 1967-68 season. On April 30, 2008, the Associated Press reported that Durant was chosen to receive the NBA Rookie of the Year Award for the 2007-08 season. On the front left tail is the "ADIDAS" manufacturers tag. Attached are four additional manufacturer’s tags with the jersey size "50","LENGTH +4", “CLIMALITE”, and "2007-2008" on them. “35 DURANT” is written on the tag in black marker. Across the front is "SEATTLE" in green and yellow tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "35" in white on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “DURANT” in white tackle twill. In the front collar is the “SONICS” logo patch. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from game used memorabilia authority Grey Flannel.
