The real life ladies that "A League of Their Own" is based off of have signed this American Girls' Baseball League baseball in black ballpoint pens with several inscriptions each. Signers include Dorothy "Dottie" Kamenshek, Alice "Lefty" Hohlmayer, Lavone A. "Pepper" Paire Davies, Margaret "Marge" Wenzell and Helen Nicole "Nickie" Fox. These women kept the great American past time going as them men were off fighting in WWII and beyond! Additionally, all of the women of the American Girls Baseball League were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988, and all five women have inscribed their Hall of Fame induction along with their names. Accomplished on a Rawlings official American League (Brown) baseball and stands in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
