Al “Mr. Tiger” Kaline was an 18-time All-Star selection, collected 10 Gold Gloves and hit an amazing .379 against the St. Louis Cardinals which lead the Tigers to the 1968 World Series title. Al Kaline retired with 3,007 hits, 1,622 runs scored, 1,583 RBI, 399 home runs and a .297 career batting average. Kaline was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980.
