Amelia Earhart was an American aviation pioneer and author. She was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. During an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight of the globe in 1937 (at 40 years old) in a Lockheed Model 10 Electra, Earhart disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean near Howland Island, never to be seen or heard from again. This incredibly rare check, dated May 7th 1935, for the order of $30.00, signed off & hand written in near-mint blue ballpoint by Amelia Earhart. Overall in fine condition with paid punch holes. Authenticated, encapsulated & graded MINT 9 by PSA/DNA.
