It is no secret that Andre spent a lot of time in Japan throughout his wrestling career. From his Japanese debut as "Monster Roussimoff" in 1970, all the way through to 1992 during his extende time with All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he eventually wrestled his final match and retired from professional wrestling. Offered here is an incredibly rare Japanese Shikishi board signed by Andre the Giant with undoubtedly the largest, most desirable autograph we have ever seen in black felt tip marker. The simply stunning relic was likely obtained on one of his many visits to Japan over two and a quarter decades. The bold autograph spans basically the entire surface of the 8" x 12" board - an appropriately "gigantic" autograph from The Giant himself! Andre was a notoriously difficult signer - add that fact in with the rare medium and huge signature, and you have a truly collectible, one-of-a-kind piece! In excellent condition.

Authenticated and accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Steve Grad & Brian Sobrero, Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
