Apollo 11 was the first spaceflight that landed humans on the moon, led by mission commander (and first man to walk on the moon) Neil Armstrong in 1969. Offered here is an ultra-rare $1 bill dating to that fateful year, signed by Armstrong in blue ballpoint pen. Rather than the typical George Washington image at the center of the bill, this special edition released by the U.S. Treasury shows the busts of all three astronauts on Apollo 11, and the date "July 20, 1969". The bill is in overall good condition with expected handling wear but no major flaws. A unique and highly desirable space collectible! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
