In 1998, Derek Jeter continued his already strong run with the Yankees, batting .324 with a league-leading 127 runs, 19 home runs and 84 RBIs, for a team that won 114 games during the regular season and is widely considered to be one of the greatest of all time. He batted .353 in the World Series, as the Yankees defeated the San Diego Padres in four games. He was also selected for his first All-Star Game that year, and finished third in voting for the AL MVP award. Offered here is a New Era size 7 1/4 New York Yankees baseball cap worn by Jeter during that season. The cap shows good signs of use, with sweat and dirt stains across the inside band and brim. Jeter's number "2" is penned in black felt tip marker under the bill. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
