Don Henley Rare Signed RIAA Triple-Platinum Record Award Presented to Radio Station (ACOA)

Up for auction is an incredibly rare piece of music history. This is an authentic RIAA Multi-Platinum Record Award commemorating Don Henley’s End of the Innocence album after selling over 3,000,000 copies worldwide. It is extremely rare for these multi-platinum record awards to come to auction, but making this even more astonishing is the fact that it was personally signed and inscribed by Don Henley himself directly on the glass.

This particular award was presented to Boston’s 92.9 WBOS rock radio station. It was personally signed by Henley, inscribed “Thanks for your support!!!” and dated 5-21-93, before being given to the station. This owner of the radio station at the time was close friends with Henley - who still to this day spends lots of time in Boston due to his Walden Woods Foundation and conservation efforts that began in 1990.
