In March 1999, business magnate Elon Musk founded X.com, an online financial services and email payment company. One year later, the company merged with Confinity, which had a little-known money transfer service called Paypal. The newly merged company focused on building the PayPal service to what we know it as today. Although Musk was ousted in October 2000 as CEO, he remained on the board. In July 2017, Musk purchased X.com from Paypal, stating that it "has great sentimental value to him". Offered here is the first baseball we have ever seen signed by Musk, with an incredible "PayPal" inscription. Collectors of signed baseballs, take note!
