For the 1968-69 UCLA Bruins basketball squad, the hopes were sky high coming off a NCAA Championship in 68. The Bruins would deliver with a perfect 25-0 record an ultimately another title for John Wooden & superstar Lew Alcindor. With vintage signed items from Kareem Abdul Jabbar with his birth-name are rare, this is only the second 1968/69 team signed ball offered in auction, with this one never previously being offered. This stunning collegiate Official Volt KB20 composite full size basketball has been signed by every single member (16 total) plus John Wooden of that perfect squad highlighted by one of the finest single basketball panels we have ever seen with "John Wooden, UCLA" & "Lew Alcindor." Other signatures in felt tip marker include:Kenny Heitz, John Vallely, John Ecker, Curtis Rowe, George Farmer, Jim Nielsen, Steve Patterson,Curtis Rowe, Don Saffer, Terry Schofield, Bill Seibert, Lynn Shackelford, Bill Sweek, Lee Walczuk & Sidney Wicks.
