Offered is a handwritten salutation on Jackie Robinson's personal stationary to his family doctor. The communication with the physician is short and brief but to the point. "Dear Doctor, I am sorry about the delay but I thought the bill was taken care of. Hope everything is fine with you and yours. Sincerely Jackie Robinson" Emphasizing the overall appeal of this wonderful keepsake is the fact that it comes on Jackie's personal stationery which offers not just his name but also an image of him in uniform in the upper left corner. Included in this impressive ensemble is the envelope addressed to the Doctor and postmarked Dec. 7, 1949. Amazing is the fact that eight years before this letter was sent our country was viciously attacked at Pearl Harbor, and then a short eight years later a black man had won the MVP of the National League! Accompanied by a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA, in which Robinson's signature received a perfect grade of GEM MINT 10!
