Its hard to believe that one musician could have an active recording career of only eight years and still make the kind of long-lasting impact that Jimi Hendrix has on modern music & culture. From the moment of his odd discovery, blowing away the former girlfriend of Keith Richards with his musical talents, Hendrix would be thrown onto the music scene. Traveling on a Pan Am airliner from New York to Heathrow on September 21st, 1966, a barley known Hendrix would find his new home & a launching pad for his career. Hendrix's brilliance would soon become a spectacle of sorts for some of the UKs biggest names in The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who & others. But it wasn't until Hendrixs prowess caught the ear of Creams Eric Clapton, the man who was widely considered to be the best guitar player in the world at that time, that Hendrix supernatural skills were cemented into the rock n roll music scene. Jimi would invite Clapton to join him for a jam session at the Regent Street Polytechnic Theater to display their skills. Shortly after joining Hendrix, Clapton would leave the stage in frustration and tell Chas Chandler, You never told me he was that fucking good." From that moment, Hendrix was a megastar, not only among fans, but also among active musicians. Offered here is an extraordinary vintage off-white 4" x 6" lined album page signed "Be Groovy Jimi Hendrix," and on the reverse "Noel Redding," & "Mitch." Overall in fine condition with minor discoloration & handling wear. Authenticated & encapsulated by Beckett Authentication Services/BAS.
