An original blood-stained swatch of leather, .5” x .75,” from the center rear seat of John F. Kennedy's limousine in which he was shot in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. Matted with an image of John and Jackie Kennedy seated in the same limousine behind Texas Governor John Connally, to an overall size of 11” x 16,” along with an explanatory caption.

Provenance: F. Vaughn Ferguson, White House Technical Service Representative in charge of the Presidential limousine who assisted the White House upholsterer in removing the leather from the rear seat four days after the assassination and supervised its refurbishing for Lyndon Johnson; The Raleigh Degeer Amyx Collection of Presidential Memorabilia; Dr. John K. Lattimer. Accompanied by a John Reznikoff/University Archives COA and trove of provenance solidifying the aforementioned chain of ownership.
