In 2014, the year before being drafted into the major leagues, Kris Bryant tore it up for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs, batting .355 with 22 home runs and 58 RBI in 68 games. Ranking as the mid-season best prospect in baseball, he went onto be named both USA Today's and Baseball America's Minor League Player of the Year. He also won the Joe Bauman Home Run Award.
