Given his dark persona and hits like "No More Mr. Nice Guy", one who has never encountered Alice Cooper may believe that he would not be a very friendly person. But those who have met this rock legend know that the stage persona is merely just that, as he is one of the nicest and most accommodating celebrities you'll ever meet. This is especially evident with this lot, where Alice literally gave the jacket off his own back to a good cause! Originally acquired by our consignor from a 2001 Phoenix area golf tournament charity auction, offered here is three items that were personally hand signed by Alice Cooper himself. Headlining the lot is a vintage World War 2 era Air Force jacket that was owned and presumably worn by Alice (his name "Cooper" is penned on the inside lining), with Cooper signing on the front left breast area in black felt tip marker. The second item is a Fender Squier Stratocaster guitar, handsomely signed along the white pickguard in black felt tip marker. Finishing off the offering is a 10" x 8" glossy black and white publicity photograph, beautifully hand signed by Cooper in black felt tip marker. All three items have been well preserved since being acquired by our consignor from Cooper in 2001 and the lot stands in overall fine condition.
