Handwritten letter on one page of 5” x 8” stationary, dated Aug 25, 1908, and signed at the conclusion in black ink by Arthur Conan Doyle. Correspondence reads, in part: “I regret…that it is impossible for me to arrange for a tour in America in 1909.” In fine condition, with expected intersecting mailing folds. Accompanied by a Beckett/BAS Guaranteed LOA.
