Lewis, the engineer on the Norfolk station, to investigate the claim, and to report to this department the necessity, if any, of continuing to occupy the ground added by general Porter for defence.” In very good condition, with scattered staining, and separation at middle repaired on the reverse; the nice Calhoun signature remains crisp and unaffected.
