Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919), the 26th President of the United States, was known as a man who had a personality that was bigger than life. Capturing the essence of Roosevelt is this large and impressive 19” x 27” custom portrait engraving of the work of renowned engraver and artist Sidney L. Smith, published by the Charles Goodspeed Company, 1905. In addition to Smith’s signature along the lower margin, this print features a choice black steel tip pen signature from President Roosevelt himself (“7-8”). Signed images from Roosevelt are desirable in any form, and this stands as the nicest—and the largest—signed Roosevelt portrait that we’ve ever seen! Nicely double matted to an overall size of 18” x 24” and in fine condition. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
