Historically significant lot of three Jackie Robinson/Brooklyn Dodgers game tickets. Before 1947, there was no other African American baseball player to play in a World Series; Jackie would accomplish that in his first year in the Majors. That historic moment is captured in the game 1 ticket of the 1947 World Series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. In good condition overall, torn in half as all used tickets were at the time. The second ticket dating from October 4th 1955 was the first time the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees in the World Series and also their first and last World Championship as affiliates of Brooklyn. The final ticket of the 1956 World Series- Game 7 would serve as Jackie Robinson’s last professional baseball game, encapsulated by PSA/DNA. All stubs are in fine condition.
