Bold and impressive red felt tip pen autograph, "Muhammad Ali, World Champ 1965," penned by Ali on a lined vintage 3" x 5" card. On February 25, 1964, Muhammad Ali defeated Sonny Liston, and in the post-fight interview officially declared that he had changed his name to Muhammad Ali. Signatures from the first year or so following this announcement--in particular dated autographs--are quite scarce. This stands as one of the cleanest and finest specimens of the early autographs that you will find!
Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, with additional Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
