In the past, we've sold our fair share of Beatle-signed photos, albums, programs and postcards. But we've never seen anything quite like this: A signed color poster by all four members of the British rock group, The Beatles! Part of the everyday allure of The Beatles was their ability to joke around, giving them a very laid back sense despite the effort of former manager, Brain Epstein. There may be no finer example of The Beatles boyish allure than this oversized 20” x 12” signed color poster. Signed in blue ballpoint during the filming of ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ in 1964 by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr. Paul took the liberty of signing the poster four times along the top & outer edge also adding a doodle to John Lennon’s face! John has added “To Paul, With Love, John Lennon,” it’s unclear if this was a jester to McCartney, or the lucky recipient of the item as no other Beatle has personalized the item. Overall in fine condition with some expected wear to the edges of the poster, along with three horizontal folds. Oversized signed color images of The Beatles are nearly impossible to find, coupled with Paul poking fun at John, this is easily one of the finest Beatles items we have had the opportunity of offering to the collectible realm!
