One of the greatest albums of all time. One of the most important music artists of the 20th century. One of the toughest signers in the world. All of these statements come together in this lot, which showcases Bob Dylan's critically acclaimed "Highway 61 Revisited" record album, boldly signed along the front cover by the music icon in a bold purple paint marker.
The signature on this album was obtained in the early 1990s by an employee of the famed Bleeker Bob's record store in New York City. It was a rare feat for Dylan indeed, as he is known as one of the most difficult signers of all-time.
This vintage album pressing shows some light but expected wear and handling to the covers but stands in overall fine condition. "Highway 61 Revisited" was ranked #4 on Rolling Stone Magazine's "Top 500 Albums of All-Time" list. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from music autograph authority Roger Epperson/REAL Authentication.
