Typed signed letter as Senator of Illinois, one page, 8.5" x 11", United States Senate letterhead, November 9, 2006. Then-Senator Obama writes in part, "In the short time I have been here, I have an even better appreciation of the opportunity I have been given to serve the residents of my state, and the responsibility I have as a United States Senator." Obama concludes by acknowledging an autograph request and providing a signed photograph (not included with the letter). Nicely signed in blue ink at the conclusion and in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
