Lee, leading to Lee’s (and the South’s) surrender at Appomattox. Two-page 5” x 8” (folded) ALS dated “June 10th 184-” to L.C. Murray, President of U. S. National Bank of NY, referencing the purchase of some stock being held as collateral against a personal loan. Signed at the conclusion with a Nm to Mint ink signature. Moderate to heavy handling wear including folds, creases, tack hole top left, scrapbook residue on the back. Good condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
