1985 would mark the first Championship game/series bout between Larry Bird & Magic Johnson since the well noted Michigan State versus Indiana State NCAA Championship game in 1979. The Lakers & Magic would go on to oust Larry yet again defeating the Celtics four games to two during that seven game series. Offered here is Jolsten’s 10K gold 1985 salesman sample Los Angeles Lakers NBA Championship ring. On the left ring band is “Magic 1985” while the right bares “Purple Reign, Los Angeles Lakers, LA 4 – BOS 2.” Beautifully displayed on the top of the ring is the Larry O’Brien Trophy in glistening cubic zirconia. Overall in fine condition with minor wear to the inside of the ring.
