The year 1919 would serve as a benchmark year for a young & bright scientist named Albert Einstein. Einstein wouldn't see any sort of mainstream recognition until his bold claim regarding the theory of relativity ability to curve light due to gravity. That prediction was confirmed by observations made by a British expedition led by Sir Arthur Eddington during the solar eclipse of 29 May 1919. The Media wouldn't really catch on the the amazing scientific feats on Einstein until his Nobel Prize in 1921 (received in 1922), for that reason any signatures dating prior to 1922 are nearly impossible to obtain. Offered here is a 1921 early vintage signature of an up-and-coming Albert Einstein sourced from a former Tailor check in book in France on Einstein's "Travel abroad" period of 1921-22. Signed in black steel-tip fountain pen "A. Einstein 1921." This remains at the time of this write up one of the earliest known Albert Einstein signatures to ever hit the public market! Authenticated & encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
