It was nearly impossible to get to Elvis Presley, as security was always tight around the biggest act of them all. Through the years Colonel Parker or other handlers frequently signed Elvis' name for him because it would be impossible to keep up with his fan mail and requests for signatures. As his popularity grew, Elvis was shunned from his adoring public. This 21 1/2" x 27 1/2" color promotional poster depicts Elvis showing off his unmatchable skills. What steals the show is a ballpoint signature of The King with his salutation "To Joyce with love from Elvis Presley." There are red Elvis stamps on the reverse of the poster. We believe this was used in promotion of his music. The lower right corner has "Hear Elvis on RCA Records and Tapes." The poster was subsequently folded and there is some minor paper loss and handling wear. But we are pleased to report the signature is free of any deficiencies. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
