Arguably one of the most desirable Gil Hodges signed photos to surface in the hobby, offered here is a beautiful 9" x 13" black and white photo of the then Mets manager during batting practice. Apparently signed at the beginning of the 1969 season to a friend or associate, Hodges writes an optimistic--if not prophetic--inscription after acknowledging the Mets' surprisingly strong start to what would be a storied season. Penned in black ink, Hodges writes, "How's this for a start in 69 / Best Wishes Jack / Let's Win / Gil Hodges." Photo exhibits some typical handling wear and stands in overall fine condition.

A sure investment grade relic from one of the greatest teams in baseball history! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).

Gil Hodges Signed 9" x 13" Photo with Prophetic "Hows this for a start in 69 - Lets Win" Inscription! (JSA)
