Offered here is a replica full size dual signed Notre Dame helmet by Joe Montana & Kris Haines paying tribute to the 1979 Cotton Bowl performance including the actual game winning play of the "chicken coup game" drawn on the helmet. Quarterback, Joe Montana battling the Flu was helped back on the field in the second half of this game thanks to chicken soup and with 7:37 remaining in the clock Montana returned. The final play of this game was a touchdown pass to receiver Kris Haines to help Notre Dame Win 35-34 over the Houston Cougars. Overall in fine condition. Authenticated by Steiner Sports with a COA.
