Offered here is a hand addressed and signed address panel that has been removed from a mailing enveloped - addressed from Dickens to Thomas Longman Esquire, Messrs Longman & Co, Palmerston Row." It is signed on the lower left of the envelope and postmarked at Devonshire on August 25th, 1845. The envelope has been double-suede matted and framed along with an engraved portrait of Dickens, to an overall size of 12.5" x 18.5". There is light scattered soiling on the envelope, otherwise in fine condition and ready for prominent display. Accompanied by full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
