I am truly delighted to know that you have arranged matters in order to accept the Chairmanship of the New York City Committee of the United Defense Fund for the forthcoming campaign. I have written to Mr. Dumas and Mr. Smith in accordance with your suggestions. Once again, my appreciation of your willingness to undertake this important task.” In fine condition, with torn punch holes to left edge and a few spots of soiling. An exceptional Presidential letter that has stood the test of time receiving an elusive MINT 9 grading by PSA/DNA.
