Joe DiMaggio made a habit of not signing baseball bats. It would take a pretty special circumstance for “Joltin' Joe” to pen his name on such a medium. In his time on earth, DiMaggio participated in only one special signing when he penned his name on 1,941 special edition bats. The signature on the offered bat was perfectly penned by DiMaggio in blue felt tip ("9-10"). The Hillerich & Bradsby Joe DiMaggio model baseball bat is numbered "170/1941". This bat was modeled after his standard game model of the 1941 season in which DiMaggio set the record for most consecutive games with a hit.
