With the autograph business really taking off in the mid-to-late 1980's, items signed by some of the bigger names, including Mantle, prior to that time are considered a rarity. This EARLY vintage 1950's Official American League (Harridge) baseball serves as one of those rarities. One of the only Mantle signed Harridge-era balls we have ever offered, Mantle has signed on the side panel with the inscription "To Ronnie Laboda, My Best Wishes Pal, Mickey Mantle." Overall in in fine condition with some toning and discoloration, as expected due to the age of the ball. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
