Ty Cobb's playing style cannot be summed up in one word, but if we had to choose one, it would be nothing other than ferocious. The Georgia Peach would grace the diamond for over 20 years, amassing over 4000 hits & an incredible .366 lifetime batting average. Cobb would be the first player in Major League Baseball history to reach the 4000 hit milestone while always playing with an attitude. Offered here is a black & white signed photograph by The Georgia Peach in black felt tip, with Cobb adding the date "6/30/49". The original photo with stamping on the reverse has scalloped edges for visual appeal. Overall in fine condition with minor handling impressions.
