During the peak of the Cold War, there was one Olympic hockey game that mattered to the people of both countries nearly as much as the war itself - that's when the U.S.S.R. played the U.S.A. Nobody expected the United States to be able to win - fielding a bunch of college amateur players while the Soviets fielded professionals. However, the "Miracle on Ice" happened and the United States won. This USA "Miracle" jersey is signed by 17 members of the 1980 U.S. Men's hockey team ,including Craig and Eruzione, and is framed along with two 5" x 7" photos of the historic day, to an overall size of 29" x 37".
