Collectors of single signed baseballs know that Roberto Clemente single signed balls are few and far between. And amongst the small pool of Clemente singles, only a fraction are on Official National League balls. Although this ONL (Giles) ball autographed on the north panel by Roberto Clemente technically has another signature on it, that of fictional character "Juan Valdez the Coffee Man", some may still consider this a single signed by Clemente. The ball certainly displays as such, with the fictional signature on the east panel, not visible when the Clemente autograph is displayed. PSA/DNA notes in their Letter of Authenticity that the fictional autograph may be penned by somebody in relation to the creation of the famed Coffee Man from Colombia, they have no other exemplars to compare it against. The ball itself has some scratching to the leather and Clemente's autograph has some rubbing to it, but if you are looking for an arguably single signed collector looking for a Roberto Clemente ball for a more affordable price, this may be the ball for you!
