This 12" x 16" ship's pass document has been signed by President John Quincy Adams and countersigned by Secretary of State Henry Clay. This is the first dual-signed item we have offered from this pair! The recipient of the ship's pass as well as all dates and details have not been filled in. In overall fine condition with two vertical folds and two horizontal folds, both of which are minimized by the beautiful gold frame displaying the piece. The seal is fully intact. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Steve Grad/Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
