President Kennedy would embark on Dallas in late November to perform a speech. Afterwards the President and his entourage were to travel on to Austin where that evening Kennedy and Vice President Lyndon Johnson were to be guests of honor at the Texas Welcome Dinner given by the State Democratic Executive Committee. Sadly the President was taken just hours prior to this exact dinner, which obviously was canceled. Offered here is an original 2.5" x 4" D14649 ticket that would have admitted the bearer to the President's Welcome Dinner. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear.
