Partly-printed Vellum 19" x 15" document signed as president at the conclusion by William H. Taft in striking black ink.President Taft appoints George W. Beaman as "Pay Director in the Navy, with the rank of Rear Admiral on the Retired List." Overall in excellent condition, rivaling even the finest preserved documents from that era with only minor paper loss to the seal. Authenticated by Beckett/BAS wth a full letter of authenticity.
