This vintage letter, dated May 1, 1958, instructs a Mr. Kurt Frings to direct any future checks to The Michael Todd Company Inc. rather than Morgan A. Maree and Associates, Inc., as had previously been the routine. Taylor has signed the bottom of the letter with a flourishing "Elizabeth Taylor Todd" autograph in blue ballpoint. This is especially significant as her husband Michael Todd had died less than two months earlier in a plane accident. The letter exhibits moderate wear with creasing to the corners and edges, some paper loss, and age spotting. Taylor's autograph is exceptionally bold!
