Following his term with the Yankees near the end of the 1959 campaign, Enos Slaughter would end his hall of fame MLB career and pick up managing. Returning as a player-manager, a seldom seen feat today, Enos would lead Triple-A Houston in 1960. Offered here is an original unexecuted 1960 8" x 11" Suspension/Inactive contract that was tentatively held by the team which has been signed in bold ballpoint by Slaughter at the conclusion. A seldom seen contract by the 10x All-Star! Overall in fine condition with horizontal folds.
