Bonanza is one of the longest-running and most beloved American series of all time. It ran for 14 seasons and 431 episodes, for which Dan Blocker, who played Eric "Hoss" Cartwright, appeared in 401. Unfortunately, he died suddenly of a pulmonary embolism before the final season of the show. This one-of-a-kind amendment to a previous contract, dated December 30, 1959, lays out amendments in the pay structure for Blocker as he plays his famous character "Hoss". Seeing as the show premiered on September 12 of that same year, it is likely that Booker's pay structure was being raised for each season he was signed to, due to the wild success of the show. The contract has been signed boldly by Blocker, along with a representative from California National Productions, Inc., at the bottom of the second page. In fine condition with expected document wear, including a staple and evidence of staple removals at the top left corner. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
