In 1996, the NBA celebrated its 50th Anniversary and recognized the need to identify those players who elevated the game from an obscure sport to the worldwide phenomenon that it is today. Since Americans love to compile lists, a committee of former and current general managers, team executives, players, coaches and media convened to determine the 50 most influential players who shaped the game. As part of the ongoing celebration, the results were unveiled at the Grand Hyatt Hotel where the original NBA charter was signed on June 6, 1946. In honor of this historically significant recognition, offered here is an 11" x 17" lithograph featuring the face of every NBA legend to receive the designation as being one of the NBA's all-time 50 greatest players. Adding to the desirability of this display are the signatures of 25 of those players next to their images. Signatures in mostly black felt tip marker include Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Nate Archibald, Charles Barkley, Rick Barry, Dave Bing, Larry Bird, Dave Cowens, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, George Gervin, John Havlicek, Elvin Hayes, Magic Johnson, Sam Jones, Jerry Lucas, Earl Monroe, Shaquille O'Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, Scottie Pippen (blue), Oscar Robertson, Isiah Thomas, Wes Unseld, Bill Walton, Jerry West, and Lenny Wilkens. In overall good condition, with the possibility of still adding several of the missing signatures! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
