Between the years of 1949-1953, the New York Yankees would conquer the baseball world with five consecutive World Series Championships - a record that stand to this day, and many believe may never be broken. For three of those five years, the Yankees would be matched up against Dem Bums from Brooklyn, lighting up the entire state of New York with a "Subway Series". Offered here is a 1953 World Series Champion New York Yankees team signed Official American League (Harridge) baseball with an impressive 28 team members! Signed in ballpoint (with no clubhouses - seldomly seen from this era) by Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto, Whitey Ford, Johnny Mize, Billy Martin, Vic Raschi, Gene Woodling, Andy Carey, Allie Reynolds, Johnny Sain, Ed Lopat, and 16 others. The ball exhibits a fair amount of toning, scuffing, and a few spots of staining. Some of the autographs show signs of fading or have been scuffed. Relics in any form from those classic Yankees are rarely seen. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
