Like his teammate Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella began his career in the Negro Leagues before moving up to the Bigs in Brooklyn. Regarded by many to have been one of the greatest catchers ever to sit behind the plate, Campanella played for the Dodgers between 1948 and 1957 before his career was cut short by an unexpected and tragic accident, preventing him from ever playing again. Offered here is a Hillerich & Bradsby 125 personal model bat signed in super blue felt tip marker by Dem Bums member Roy Campanella. Overall in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
