Serving as a model of consistency, Walter Johnson perennially logged seasons of 20, even 30, victories helping his Senators to a victory in the 1924 World Series. With 417 wins, 531 complete games with 110 by shutout, 3509 strikeouts and a career ERA of 2.17, it goes without saying that the legendary Johnson ranks among the best of all time on the mound. Passing away in 1946, Walter Johnson signatures are rare in any format. Offered here is a rare postcard picturing Rockefeller Park in Cleveland Ohio, signed on the reverse in pencil by Walter Johnson with the date "May 19". A very early career-era signature from the original Hall of Famer! Overall in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
