Th second-oldest of the Marx Brothers, Harpo Marx distinguished himself from the verbal comedy of his brothers Groucho Marx and Chico Marx, with a visual comedic approach, being an example of both clown and pantomime traditions. He never spoke during performances (he blew a horn or whistled to communicate) and frequently used props such as a horn cane, made up of a lead pipe, tape, and a bulbhorn. He also, appropriately, played the harp in most of his films. Offered here is a 3" x 4" spiral notebook page signed by Harpo Marx in extremely thick and bold black steel tip pen. The page exhibits even toning and a rough edge from where the spiral binding was previously attached. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
